Are full comprehensive employee benefits on the way out?  Obama’s health care reform movement may be hearing some opposition as he encourages insurance forum (s) around the country to discuss what should be done in the coming months. In an unprecendented move, Obama has supported community leaders across the country to gather local citizens from all walks of life to air their grievances and discuss the best ways to fix the broken health insurance system. One of the topics raised involves the idea that Obama’s proposed reforms do not go far enough. A number of participants asserted that employers should no longer be the key providers of insurance coverage and that the system needs to be more fundamentally overhauled. Do you think that the employer based health care system will soon be a thing of the past?
