Despite the fact that our troubled economy leaves many people in the search for any kind of work, for some, finding work with health benefits is still top priority, no matter how long it takes. With one in six people in New Jersey without health insurance, the statistics are troubling. Many people however, remain uninsured due to lack of knowledge, or having trouble filling out paperwork. Some people can qualify for federal aid and just don’t realiize it. Is the prevailing belief that employer based coverage is the only coverage available hurting the American people? What can be done to make people aware that there are other options available?
