While Obama has declared that all American citizens happy with their current health insurance plan will have the option to keep it, his other plans to establish more government run programs may come into conflict with this. Employers will have the option to either provide health care to its employees, or to pay into a government plan. If the government plan proves to be less of an expense, more and more employers are likely to drop their current plans in favor of the less expensive option.
