Chamber BlueOptions will be expanding the choices available to small businesses health insurance in Maine. Eight health plans in HMO and PPO format will be available, giving employers the power to offer a greater number of options to meet their employees’ needs. One notable feature is that small businesses will have access to the types of plans previously only available to larger corporations. More the 500 small businesses in the area take advantage of these plans, with discounts given to those who participate in certain employee wellness programs.
