The right for workers to form unions has been a longstanding one in this country, but in recent years the practice has declined. For whatever reasons we can attribute this decline, many are saying that a resurgence in union activity could go a long way in protecting the rights and benefits of America’s working force. Do you think that a resurgence in union activity could work to bring positive changes to employees and their ability to procure good health insurance benefits? Or has the time of unions passed, and there are too many other issues facing the economy which will prevent them from being effective?
